San Antonio Beer Festival, Dignowity Park  

The 11th Annual San Antonio Beer Festival is the largest Beer Festival in San Antonio, pouring 400+ premium and craft beers from 150+ breweries from around the world. A portion of the San Antonio Beer Festival proceeds benefit the San Antonio Food Bank.

This festival is jam packed with unique casks, one of a kind collaborations, and your favorite porters, stouts, pilsners, ales, wheats, belgians, ciders, and lagers to name a few. Beyond beer, the San Antonio Beer Festival will also feature live music, interactive games, a wine garden, food trucks, food booths, local vendors and more.

Experience the beer festival that San Antonio has loved for more than a decade. The San Antonio Beer Festival welcomes everyone 21 and over. Feel free to bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy a beautiful fall day at Dignowity and Lockwood Parks on San Antonio’s Eastside. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the San Antonio Food Bank.

Japan Fest 2016, Japanese Tea Garden 3875 N Saint Marys St 

From 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Japanese Tea Gardens, the Japan-America Society of San Antonio invites the public to the 2016 Japan Fest. Admission will be $3 for adults and FREE for kids.
The purpose of the event is to celebrate Japanese culture and to help San Antonio’s Sister City, Kumamoto, recover from major earthquake damage earlier this year.

Monarch Butterfly & Pollinator Festival, The Pearl 303 Pearl Pkwy 

Join us Saturday, October 22 during peak Monarch butterfly migration week as we celebrate San Antonio’s unique place in the storied Monarch butterfly migration–right in the middle of the flyway. Events are FREE and open to the public.

We’ll gather at 9:30 for a migration through the Pearl grounds led by San Antonio’s own Pedaling Pollinators, a butterfly-themed bike troupe orchestrated by the Earn-A-Bike Coop.

15th Annual Festival of Puerto Rico, San Antonio Shrine Auditorium 901 N Loop 1604 W 

There will be great live music and great food including from La Marginal. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door.
